Sea Jay Too’s interior is beautifully finished in cherry in modern style with ample use of solid wood. Her cabin sole in the salon area is teak, with carpeted areas in the staterooms. Radiant heating in the cabin sole from the Kubola diesel furnace provides a cozy feel in the cabin. A air conditioning/reverse cycle heating system is also installed.

The master stateroom is located forward. A walkaround island berth is oriented athwartships with built in bedside cabinets. White vinyl wall panels and headliner offset the cherry bulkhead and cabinetry at the head of the berth, giving the space a bright feel. A large hatch overhead provides light and ventilation. Drawers beneath the berth and lockers along the port side of the cabin create ample storage space.

The master stateroom head with separate shower stall is forward. A counter runs along the forward side of the compartment, with mirrored cabinets above and lockers below. The toilet is to port. The tiled separate shower stall is to starboard, with a bench seat. Hatches above both head and shower stall areas provide good ventilation.

Outboard along the passageway to the master stateroom, a separate washer and dryer are hidden behind locker doors.

The lower helm station is slightly raised from the salon level, providing excellent visibility. Forward rake on the windshield cuts glare. Two Stidd helm chairs are upholstered in tan Ultraleather, matching the upholstery in the rest of the salon. All controls are close at hand – three Garmin 17” touch screen chartplotters, autopilot, engine and electrical controls and monitors. A retractable stainless steel crash bar provides a barrier between the raised salon and stairway to the forward cabin while under way.

Opposite the helm station is raised L-shaped settee with a small cocktail table. This space provides a comfortable vantage point for crew with good visibility forward.

The galley stretches along the starboard side of the salon. The L-shaped counter provides a generous working space, with well configured storage in a variety of drawers beneath the counter and opposite the galley below the settee and raised dinette seats. A two bin stainless sink is located at the forward end of the galley. Aft is the induction stovetop with oven below. The refrigerator, drawer fridge/freezer and dishwasher are hidden behind cherry joinery that matches the rest of the galley cabinets. A additional top loading freezer is located beneath the raised settee to port. Sliding cabin windows at the galley (and throughout the salon) provide excellent ventilation.

The guest stateroom is down three steps from the salon. Two bunks provide comfortable accommodations. A television monitor is mounted on the bulkhead forward. Four drawers and a locker are located aft and outboard, with an opening portlight above.

Aft inside the guest stateroom is the guest head with separate shower. A counter runs along the aft side of the compartment, with a large mirror above and lockers below. The toilet is outboard, with additional storage behind. The large separate shower stall is inboard.

Sea Jay Too’s electrical system is based on the Victron Energy platform with a LiFePO4 house battery bank that allows for fast charging times and high energy density for the footprint. For reliability, the battery system is configured with switches to isolate individual battery BMS in the case of a fault. Batteries are charged via high output alternators on the main engines, the 10.5kw Fischer Panda generator or 30 or 50 amp shore power systems. Isolation transformers fitted in both shore power systems prevent galvanic corrosion aboard. Two Victron Quattro 24v 8000va inverters supply ample power to the vessel when not connected to shore power or running the generator. A touch screen Victron displays allows for integrated monitoring and display of the battery and charging systems.

Sea Jay Too’s hull and superstructure are of welded aluminum, the industry standard for safe, strong, low maintenance vessels.

Sea Jay Too’s foredeck features a large working space with deck access to the anchor locker and a storage locker. Stainless steel handrails surround the deck and are mounted on strong aluminum studs welded to a integral bulwark. Metals are isolated to prevent corrosion. Mooring cleats are welded to the deck. Wide side decks allow easy passage aft to the cockpit. Two hydraulically lifting engine compartment doors allow excellent access to the motors and drives. At the aft end of the cockpit there is a counter with stainless sink, Kenyon BBQ, 120v outlet and storage below. Doors to port and starboard lead to the swim platform, where stainless “staples” provide a handhold for exiting the boat onto a dock or dinghy – the center staple is removable. A rubrail with stainless steel strip wraps around the stern and extends one third of the way forward along the hull.

A stainless ladder with UHMW treads leads to the upper deck. There is a helm station at the forward end with two captains chairs. Two additional chairs and a straight settee surround a teak table. A AB aluminum bottom RIB dinghy is mounted on chocks at the aft end of the upper deck. An arch provides mounting locations for antennas, searchlight and Flir camera.
